COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP AWARD
Criteria:

Candidate will be a member, in good standing, of Sigma Theta Tau.

Candidate directs and guides health care activities that produce 'measurable outcomes in a community/organizational setting.

Candidate is recognized by an organization for developing teamwork and by staff for promoting their professional growth and development.

Candidate has developed and/or managed projects leading to greater awareness of health within the community/organization.

Candidate promotes the image of nursing within community/organization.
Procedure:

Nomination for the award will be made by a member of Delta Chapter.

Nominating letter to be submitted to the Research and Awards Committee Chairperson by March 1.

Nominating letter will describe how the stated criteria for the Community Leadership Award have been met.
- Nominating letter will be accompanied by a resume or curriculum vitae supporting the nominee's particular achievement and continuing leadership role.
- Nomination will be endorsed by two (2) other support letters that attest to achievement of the criteria identified in the nominating letter.
Awards:
The decision will be made by the Research and Awards Committee. The recipient of the award will receive a $100 monetary award at the spring chapter meeting.
DEADLINE FOR NOMINATION IS MARCH 1.
